Instead of the B12 he could use the "B Complex".. other than that it looks like you have your friend in the right direction.

Yes, I agree, all is well, but add the B complex............

St Johns Wort is the most popular. I take it to maintain my balance of mind after coming of anti-d's and it seems to work.

Hi, I too advocate good nutrition and dietary changes! One suggestion... If the 5HTP is not enough, try SAM-e. If SAM-e is going to work, you should be able to tell in just a few days, It is a lot more expensive than 5HTP, but would be a good one to try if the 5HTP doesn't help.

In additon to adding Omega 3 Mood enhancer by country life(find at whole foods) I began cleansing. I started with a product called Oxy Powder. I found this one to be the best because it is an oxygen based one. I also liked it becasue i didn't have to follow any specific diet. The pporest of diets still benefit form the cleanser. It really seemd to boost my energy which in turned boosted my mood too. You may want to look into it. I live by the stuff. Ther is also a great book out called Health begins in the Colon. It is a good read and uses simple terms so the average reader can understand.

ST johns wort

oranges, chocolate, sherbert, and vitamin D milk. all are mood lifters, and taste good!
