Has anyone on here tried drinking urine?!

Question: No.
However i have met several people who have 'Tried it' and consequently didn't bother continuing.
That says a lot about whether its worth pursuing.

you put this under medicine why?
are you wondering if anyone else has the same hobby?

I think drinking your own has some beneficial effect, buggered if I'm doing it though.

I have a group of friends that tried it.... but they were trying to recycle the chemistry of a drug based on a principal learned at Uni...... Chemistry students????

I'm a joiner I just nail myself to a cross every now and then! lol

Urophagia is generally considered harmless, since the urine of healthy individuals is sterile. However, a small risk exists if there is a disease present, or bacterial infection of the urethra. There may also be secondary effects, such as skin rashes in individuals sensitive to urine.

In countries such as India and China, it is considered normal by some groups to drink your own urine for health and cosmetic purposes. This health branch of drinking urine is considered to be labeled as Urine therapy. Also, an old method of teeth-whitening during the Renaissance involved the consumption of urine, though it needn't be, and wasn't always necessarily, that of the user.

But.... no I haven't drank any.... not my 'cup of tea'!!

Why would you chance doing damage to you liver and kidneys?
People in lifeboats did it and died. Great Plan!!!!!

yea i drink my piss each day

No but i know someone who claims they have and said it tastes salty, personally i wouldn't want to find out.

No, it's not my cup of pee...

Urine is a true waste product that the body has gone to a great deal of trouble to isolate, dilute and excrete, putting it back in to the body, for the kidneys to have to repeat the process is both daft and toxic! It cannot possibly contribute anything to health.

I doubt that many people on here have tried drinking urine,
but if you think it may have a
healing effect, why don't you
try it and let us know...

yes
