Is there a natural cure for bone spurs?!

Question: I have bone spurs on my shoulder that pinches a nerve when I reach behind me or lift my arm suddenly. It is quite painful. Does anyone know what I can do? My arthopedic doctor said surgery or physical thearpy and my chiropractor said adjustments. I am taking a Chinese herbal called myosteo which is suppose to help. So far the exercise makes everything worse. I probably will not consent to surgery until I can't use the arm at all. So, if you have any experience , please tell me what it is.Thanks

The underlying reason for the spurs is due to a degenerative process in your shoulder. Perhaps due to osteoarthritis, or previous trauma, spurs in the shoulder are rare. There are no injections that will dissolve them. You can try the conservative care of exercise, heat, ultrasound ect.. and perhaps this will be of benefit. Adjustments will do nothing since it is an alteration of normal anatomy, supplements likely will also do nothing. Surgery should be a last resort as these spurs frequently come back. Try the conservative therapy approach first.

time, allow the body to heal itself

I am not aware of a natural cure, no. But as an alternative to surgery, there is an injection that dissolves them. Your doctor must be an intern and needs more surgical hours to graduate to his/her residency. Find another doctor who isn't so knife happy!

I will give you my personal experience. I had always thought that bone spurs could only be removed by surgery BUT.
I had one protruding straight out from my
shoulder. After an X-ray, my doctor decided
on Physical therapy. At every session I was
given a special "treatment" using a heat gel
and a machine that emitted radio? waves.
I did some actual exercises, but it was
the "treatment" that stopped the inflammation and it finally healed. that was
6 years ago.
I got a bone spur on my right heel sticking
straight out towards the back. I could not
wear any shoe with a back in it. When I
began wearing Crocs (imitation) I had no
heel rubbing and it has healed and gone away.
Bone spur inside my knee and under the
knee cap. Extremely painful, could barely walk. My Dr. is an MD and a DO. I had
to ask him--about a steroid shot.
He explained to me that there is a new
one that is very good. I got it and it lasted
1 year. I got another one and it only lasted
1 month...why? It is a very precise injection.
It must be put in the exact location.
3rd shot was a bullseye. It has lasted for
about 7 months so far.

The natural remedies include 1,500 mg of calcium and 750 mg of magnesium every day and many others that you can find in a web search for "bone spurs" + "natural remedies".
