Fish Oil is very good for many benefits. The biggest benefits are for skin health, brain health, cardiovascular health, and heart health. I've been taking Fish Oil for several months, and I've noticed that my skin is healthier (especially not as dry during the winter) and I can think clearer in general... I'm sure my heart is healthier, but I didn't have any heart trouble, so I didn't notice any difference with that.

Ultimately, your best bet is to follow the recommendations on the bottle, but if you can only handle 2 pills a day, you can obviously stick with that. If you don't like to take as many pills, though, you could get a Fish Oil concentrate like I did... they have more EPA and DHA (the beneficial parts of Fish Oil) so you don't need to take as many daily.

The biggest thing to make sure of with Fish Oil is that you get one that is specifically Molecularly Distilled because that is currently the only safe way to remove all trace contaminants of any heavy metals from it.

fish oil tablets are suppose to be really good with just your general wellbeing- joints, memory, fight diseases etc.... taking 2 a day though sounds a bit much (unless advised on the packet) ... If you want to get better hair and skin, take one a day and have some steamed fish for lunch or dinner.....

Are you talking about omega 3?
There is no definite clinical evidence (to my knowledge) that these improve the health of your skin but there is certainly anecdotal evidence that omega 3s can help to ge rid of acne and keraosis pilaris (chicken skin) I;m not too sure about hair though. Apart from that, there is a very widely accepted view that getting more omega 3 and less omega 6 in your diet can protect you from cardiovascular disease.
Omega 3 (dha) is recently being used as a treatment for Parkinson's disease so it appears that it may also have neuro-protective qualities.
Hope this helps!

The best fish oil is by Nordic Naturals. No I don't work for them.
The other answers are basically right. natural oil and omega 3 are good for allot of aliments.
If you have a serious condition like Arthritis you can take up to 6 grams a day and you should see a difference in less than 60 days. good luck.
We don't get enough fatty acids to keep us healthy these days. Animal fat is not good.

Fish oil is a good source of omega 3 which is really good for your heart, and your skin and hair. Grape seed oil is a great antioxidant which fights off free radicals. both are great to take every day!
