Does anybody have a remedy for an on again off again headache?!

Question: Go and get a massage.

Ask them to massage main points your neck and head. Could be a build of of stress.

I would also suggest going and getting your eyes tested. Regular head aches can be due to eye sight and strain.

Could also be due to being dehydrated. Drink 2 litres of water a day and see if that helps too.

Go see a chiropractor. I wasn't a believer, but I suffered from a severe head concussion leaving me unable to walk well and painful headaches. Try it @ least once, what will it hurt?

I heard that 1,000 mg. of magnesium works!

The organic loose leaf variety of peppermint tea is a great choice to eliminate a headache. Simply put 2 - 3 teaspoons of the herb into a teapot and top with boiling water and let brew for 15 - 20 minutes. Peppermint tea is also a good tonic for an acid tummy and will lift your mood and spirits without being a stimulant .......... organic is the best way to go as the essential oils in it are so rich, the commercial varieties have had so much of the goodness pulverised from them they could never possibly be used for therapeutic purposes. ?

The pure essential oil peppermint oil is also a fine way to eliminate a headache quickly. Simply put a few drops onto a cotton ball and inhale the aroma being carefull not to rub it on your skin as it will more than likely irritate it when placed directly onto your skin, so avoid contact with your skin?

Any good health food store should be able to provide you with both the oil and herbal tea ?

Water, water, water is what you need to stay hydrated hun. At least 2 - 3 litres per day. Hey, you need at least 2 litres per day just to maintain aspiration (to breath)!! Headaches and migraines are a symptom of dehydration... Other symptoms of dehydration are puffy bags under your eyes, dark circles under your eyes, headaches and migraines, constipation, bloating and cramps, inability to think clearly ?

You need to ensure that you are hydrating your body properly........... at least 2 - 3 litres of water per dayThere are those that say you only need 4 or five glasses per day, but how about if you are dehydrating yourself by drinking coffee, tea, sodas and soft drinks and alcohol?? for each cup of coffee you drink the caffeine will trick your brain into thinking that it has plenty of water to spare and hence your body will excrete about 2 cups of water ~ putting you behind the 8 ball to start with.

Sodas and soft drinks are worse ~ for each can you drink your body will excrete up to 12 cups of water !! Scary hey!

Ever wake up in the morning, have your morning coffee or tea and get to work and just can't stop yawning?? That's because your body needs water to breath, transport nutrients all over your body, for our digestive tracts to work properly, to lubricate our joints effectively etc.etc.etc........ water ie ~ fresh filtered water, is the single most important thing you can focus on.

After all, the happiest and healthiest body is always going to be the most hydrated one?

Also, if you are lactose intolerant or a vegetarian then you really do need to supplement your diet with a multi B complex supplement ~ a deficiency in vitamin B3 (niacin) will produce negative personality changes in a person and will also produce headaches and migraines, diahorrea, depression, itching skin.

Make sure you buy a supplement including all the B's ie ~ B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12 as they work best together.

Eat more foods rich in this vitamin ie ~ fish, lean meats, whole wheat products, brewer's yeast, liver, eggs, roasted peanuts, the white meat of poultry, avocadoes, dates, figs and prunes ~ a handfull of steamed chicken does the trick for me when i have a cracking headache?

Niacin will also eliminate canker sores and often times bad breath too. it will give you healthier looking skin, increase circulation and reduce high blood pressure. It is necessary for a healthy nervous system and brain functions.

iburofen and Tylenol will do a fine job of ripping you off of your essential complex of B vitamins .............. hence, they may work to start with but fail to actually cure the cause and only serve to bandaid the symptoms.

I truly do wish you all the very best of health & vitality buddy?

take care of you ?
