Will prune juice really work as a laxative?!

Question: Hi All,

Having some issues with going so have resorted to my mum's old recommendation (though I never tried it before!) Prune Juice!

Having managed to force almost a pint down this morning I feel very nauseous, will it actually work lower down and get things going?

Did I drink enough and will it work today, just off to work so wanted to have an idea of what to expect?

Any experiences?

careful dont shhiit yourself

yes it will help. You just have to find out how much you need to drink...too less does not work and too much works too much..

Prune juice is a good addition to your diet, but I wouldn't recommend drinking so much it makes you nauseous. (you gotta love moms) Try adding other all natural fruit juices to your diet. Eat lots of whole grain foods, like oatmeal...try Kashi products...they are so good for you and they really taste great! Add some raw fruits and vegies.....one of my favorite salads is Dole raw spinach leaves with sunflower nuts, dried cranberries, diced apples, raspberries and low-fat feta toped with Ken's Raspberry Vinaigrette Salad Spritzer. Try to add these to your diet everyday...you will not only cleanse your system, but you will feel more energized and clear. This is a good healthy way to drop a few pounds also.

Prune juice is a good one but i would change your diet if this oproblem of your last longer but i know it sound painful and discusting but if nothing else works an old fashion enema will clear you up in a jiffy
