Neti Pots and Ear Tubes...?!
Question: I just bought a neti pot and I was really excited to use it. I have been having some serious sinus/nasal problems lately. Does anyone know of Eustachian tube problems with usage of the neti pot and people whose ears have had tubes put in due to chronic ear infections?

I've used my neti pot for about 2 years now, not daily, but usually when I have congestion or I can feel a cold coming on.
The way we were taught by a yoga teacher is to make sure the water runs out the other nostril. She said it shouldn't get into the ear tubes at all.
Neti pots help a lot however I have a funny story about the ear tubes. My mom did it on my bro and was like "wow look how much crap was in there" however my dad, the skeptic, takes one and lights it without it in his ear to the same result. Does that mean the don't help? no. If you think it's working then it helps... anyway just thought i'd tell you that.
No, I haven't heard of or had any problems and I have chronic ear infections and I use a Neti Pot.
