Is it true that tea helps you to sleep? what about milk? What liquids help you t!

Question: actually, certain teas do help you sleep. certain herbs have been proven and prescribed to help sleep disorders. cammomile or valerian tea would work, with some honey (make sure to always get decaffinated). there are some teas labeled "sleepytime tea" in the market, or any variation of that, that have a combination of herbs to help you sleep. and of course, warm milk will help, too, but preferably a small glass and non-fat. extra calories could potentially keep you up.

Tea, no (unless it's decaffeinated or herbal, in which case it would have no effect.) Milk, yes.

Nyquil.. J/K (but it does help you sleep.. wouldn't advise taking it if you aren't actually sick, though!)

Milk will make you sleepy. To really knock you out, have some sugary, high-carb cereal with milk, or a turkey sandwich with milk. Both of those will knock you out COLD!

Herbal tea or decaffeinated with honey or almond extract NOT sugar or warm milk with honey in it. Perfect sleep aids.

What helps me sleep is either cold water... Or sleep medicine.

Warm Milk has what's called a soporific effect, in other words it makes you sleepy. There is also an herbal tea called "sleepy time" by celestial seasons that some people swear by as a sleep remedy.

tea that is decaffinated and says right on the package that it will help you sleep - such as Celestial brands "sleepytime" tea. it will help you out. Idk about milk. but if you do make tea then try not to put straight sugar in it.. go for the honey instead i think it has more of a soothing effect

Cammamile tea is good but don't take for a long period.
Melatonen a natural that we all make in our brain works great. We sometimes need a suppliment when our brain fails to make enough for what ever reason.

I have found that Monavie really helps to get a good nights sleep.

try getting more sunlight. and doing relaxing yoga at night before bed.

Chamomile tea is very effective in resolving the symptoms of insomnia. Also Milk contains traces of natural tranquilizers and honey contains the most easily assimible form of sugar .Regular use of milk and honey helps to regularize the sleep pattern, thus helping to resolve insomnia.
