Detox suggestions?!

Question: Im doing a detox and yes im doing it properly. Ive been drinking heaps of water cause i want to flush my system out, and jasmine tea, as i also dont have time to squeeze my own fruit juices - if i buy juice i know it will have sugar and stuff added. Ive been eating fruit to stop the hunger pains and to keep my energy up but im starting to feel real lathargic and craving my cigerettes and coffee - im quiting!, im going to be doing this for two - three days, its bearable and im staying strong but i want to know if theres anything such as a fruit or tea or something that can help with the lathargia ? i know im going to have the headaches that come from withdrawals as ive done this before and know whats in store but i know if i keep at it and stay strong ill feel great after. any tips? and no i dont wanna hear how i should be doing it through a dr or a dietician, im doing it as per a naturalpath. im 21 and know what im doing, if i get to bad i will eat and stop any suggestions

Wow and you're not smoking and no caffeine.
You go girl.
I don't know of any specific detox suggestions. I'm just admiring your strength, and you've motivated me.

I guess since meditating really helps me, maybe that can help you with any discomfort, anxiety, etc.

hang tuff.

Hi i reccomend 24 hr detox program from local health stores and pharmacys.Congrates on trying to quit smokeing i'm also doing the same.Yoga and pilates also helps

Drink ALOT of water. Also, buy some detox tea.

Putting lemon in your water, also helps to flush out toxins.

Hey there hun ? I'm worried about your stress levels at the moment...... to bolster a healthy immune, neural and digestive system you should probably take a multi B complex supplement to help your body deal with the every day stresses of life ........... detoxing is a prime example and really just the every day dramas life throws at us. Take one now to reduce your stress levels, alleviate headaches and migraines, combat fatigue and exhaustion, irritability and moodiness, inability to focus or concentrate properly, constipation, insomnia and depression ...... just to mention a few........... even when you've finished the detox keep up your intake of B vitamins.. :0)

Of course, to make the B complex of vitamins effective you need sufficient calcium and vitamin D in your system... so ensure you get at least 10 - 15 minutes of safe sun exposure on a daily basis and pump up your intake of leafy greens, kale, collard greens, brocolli as they are rich in calcium ?

Get a multi B complex that includes all the B's ie ~ B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12 as they all work best together. Do not buy any of the B complex of vitamins individually but rather as a group as they interdepend on each other for effective assimilation ....... unless under specific instructions from a nutritionally oriented physician or naturopath ?

If you feel inclined to do so eat more leafy and green vegies, which are rich in the mineral magnesium.... magnesium is known as the antistress mineral and is needed in the human body for healthy nerve and muscle functioning and of course for heart health. Foods rich in magnesium will increase the production of hydrochloric acid in your tummy thus aiding in digestion and eliminating any constipation issues you may have ...... and that, afterall is the aim of your exercise ~ to detox and eliminate built up toxins and waste ?

more power to you for taking responsibility for your own health ~ good on you ?

please take care of you ?

CHEERS
?

If you are quitting cigarettes and coffee, there is no reason to subject yourself to this "detoxing" silliness at the same time. Stop putting additional stress on yourself and just eat a normal diet.
