Herbal seasonal allergy control?!

Question: I'm looking for allergy control methods without OTC antihistamines and decongestants - cost effective too. I saw a list of herbs and/or essential oils with directions one time but can't find it again. Maybe herbal teas too?
I'm not looking for just a list of useful herbs, or OTC suggestions or info on neti pots. If someone has good info to share on controlling allergies naturally, I'd appreciate it!

You could try herbal teas but I have found that the best allergy control is honey by the bees in your area. It'll be harder to find in commerical stores like walmart - a lot of that honey is shipped in from other areas. I find my honey at the local farmers market. Local meaning withing a few miles of your city. For instance I live in Huntsville Al, so i'll get honey from Athens, Huntsville, Decatur but Birmingham is to far for my need. Besides, i think Huntsville Bees are the BEST ;n)

I mix 1 teaspoon of honey in 8oz of warm water with a teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar , 1 teaspoon of black strap molasses and a teaspoon of lemon juice for taste. I saw an imidiate change. in not only allergies, but hair, skin and energy. the mixture is also good for the anemic, greying and those with constant fatigue --

for sinuses alone you can take 1 teaspoon of local honey -- you may seem a little worse off for the first day or so but after about a week you will start to see a difference. your body will buid an immunity to the pollens and allergens in the honey and local honey usually just tastes great. if you can't take the honey by itself try it in your favorite tea, or on a biscuit or a piece of toast :n)

i have always used this one to great effect, even though it says it's for winter and fall immune booster, works great from spring allergies

Local wildflower is suppose to be good because it exposes you to the local pollens and builds up your body's immunity, much like allergy shots.

I have been doing nasal rinses for the last few months, and I can't believe the great difference its made. I like to do it when I get home from work or before bed to rinse away all of the allergens that have accumulated in my system during the day, and I find I'm not that uncomfortable when I wake up in the morning, which is usually the worst time of day for me.
