No. They don't work at all, unless of course there is nothing much wrong with you in the first place, in which case you were going to get better anyway....and homeopaths will be happy to take the credit...and your money.
Homeopathic "medicine" actually has no active ingredients. They have this completely unscientific idea that the more you dilute a substance, the more powerful it becomes. This violates several laws of nature, and has never ever been proven. They also have something called the "Law of Similars"...which means they think things that cause similar symptoms can be used to treat an illness with that symptom. For instance, they use caffeine in their sleeping pills. But don't worry, it's diluted so much there is no mathematical possibility that there is a single molecule of caffeine in a tablet.
As an aside, despite HP's saying they "treat the underlying cause holistically", and not just the symptoms like "allopathic" doctors....the irony to me is that their entire "diagnostic" and treatment plan is completely based on what symptoms you have...they then look those up in a book and decide what potion you should get. You are far more likely to get a (useless placebo) potion from a homeopath, than you are to get a Rx from a doctor.
Homeopathy only works in awake and expectant victims...er patients. It works by the placebo effect. Many many studies have now shown this. There is no plausible scientific reason that homeopathy should work. There is a good scientific explanation of the placebo effect, and all studies show that homeopathy is no more effective than placebo.
Antibiotics on the other hand will work even if you don't believe in them or are in a coma. There was solid scientific theory on how and why they work. There is a solid body of evidence as to their mechanism of action, supporting that theory. There is a clear measurable dose-response. All of these are missing in homeopathy.
Homeopathy is moribund.
the few i have tried-do work-some faster some slower> I have only tried for minor things--if was serious i would go to Doc--Some homeopathics and herbals can interfere with meds--go to health food store and get a book and see what there is to try!

It not only works, it usually works better and is safer. Homeopathic is God's natural medicine.
Man made pills have side effects and some can and have killed people. You have heard the saying "Doctors bury their mistakes" It happens more than you think.
There is times we need to go to a doctor of coarse. But not as often as some like to think.
Antibiotics make as many sicker and kill as many as they help. These are facts and if you do the home work and research you will understand the truth.

They are one of the oldest SCAMS on the planet. People are still fooled by the placebo effect and this useless crap.
