A small amount of olive oil on a cotton ear bud. According to doctors that's the best way of curing it, oh and blowing your nose as it clears out things like that.
if it is simply just an ear ache, lay on a pillow and tilt your head to the side, laying the hurting ear completely flat on a pillow. The water should come out itself and your ear will feel better.
