What is a good way to aid in healing a tendon.?!

Question: I have a sore tendon in my arm near the joint and I can't seem to get it to heal because I use it at work so much. I was wondering if there was some sort of pill or anything I could do to help it heal.
Thank you very much.

All connective tissue is made of collagen. Collagen is 100 times stronger than steel wire.
Collagen comes from Vitamin C. Most people get almost no C and have weak bones and cartilage.
If you give people 10,000mg of C a day for 30 days, the tear strength of scar tissue goes up by 10 times.
In the old days, sailors who were at sea fro years had no C and their bodies fell apart, old scars opened up, etc etc etc.
If football teams took 10,000mg of C per day during the season there would be very few injuries because the joints, bones and cartilage would become incredibly strong.
Vitamin C also doubles the natural strength, so if ywo players of the same size meet, the one with Vitamin C will easily overpower the other.

No, pills won't help. It needs time and if you keep trying to use it you'll make the healing time take longer.

I have to concue with the first responder. Nothing works but time, and I mean time of really not using that part of the body any more than necessary. I have a tendon injury in my right wrist (I'm right handed, so you can imagine how hard that was, to have it immobilized). The cuff they gave me just really hurt and was cumbersome, so I would wind up having it off more than on. End result, it took my tendon about six months to really heal, because I was always re-injuring it doing little things I wouldn't even give a second thought to, like turning a door knob a with it in an awkward position, or using a can opener. It's a shame that you have to irritate the injury because of your work. Maybe in your case it would be good to wear something protective, and at least try to keep it on at work, and try to be very careful and conscious of it at other times.

I know nothing about healing tendons, but I suggest that you contact your doctor. You don't want to play around with something that can turn into a very serious concern. What shall we then say to these things? If GOD be for us, WHO can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with BENEFITS, even the GOD of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Peace!!!
