How many times a day should I apply apple cider vinegar to my sunburn?!

Question: Apple Cider Vinegar is an old home remedy that is applied to the burnt skin cool the heat of sunburns. The drawback is that ACV dries out the skin which is something you do not want. If you apply ACV, let it air dry then apply some cooling cream or Aloe Vera Gel. ACV will restore the skin's natural pH, but if the skin peels, you still need to reapply the ACV on the new skin. And remember, prevention is the key!

Well, Apple Cider Vinegar doesn't really help sunburn much at all.... it's usually used for digestion and weight loss.
If you would like to help your sunburn, there are several natural products that will help your skin to heal. The two best ones for external use would be Aloe Vera and Vitamin E liquid or cream (but make sure you don't use too much Vitamin E daily as it can build up in your system).

Also, if you would like more benefits, there are some supplements you could take internally to help the health of your skin. Some of the most popular ones are Biotin, Silica (commonly from Horsetail), Squalene, Hyaluronic Acid, MSM, L-Cysteine, Collagen, and most antioxidants.
Good luck!

Something tells me that would just burn like all get out!

I use it to help dry out cold sores so Im not sure how it would help a sun burn.

I've never used apple cider vinegar for sunburns, but I have used it for acne, and I applied it twice a day.
For sunburns, I would recommend aloe vera gel.

I've used it before, and it helped with the redness after 1 application. I would recommend no more than 2 times a day. Maybe once in the morning and once at night. But, just start out with once at night, and don't wash it off. Just go to sleep after you put it on. That's what I did and it was much better in the morning.

Never mind the cider apple vinegar.
Try plain ALKA-SELTZER.
one in a glass of water, soak a piece of lint the size of the sun burn, moisten so that some of the liquid remains then place this on the burn.
You will find that this will feel very cold, but will take the sting out.and reduces any scarring. GOOD LUCK.
