Help I must sleep from 3pm-10:30pm tomorrow what should I take? Will melatonin w!


Question: My husband works tomorrow from 4:30 am until 3 pm and then he gets to sleep from 3 until 10:30 and then must work from friday 11 Pm until saturday 6pm. 19 hours! and then sleep from 8 pm until 4 am He gets to sleep again but then on sunday he has to work from 4am until 6pm on sunday.

He is a Ironworker so he is building a trainstation in downtown chicago. So he must get his sleep while he can he will be sleeping in the car between shifts because we live 90 minutes away from chicago so he would lose three hours of sleep if he came home
what can he take that will knock him out quickly and not be droggy when he wakes up to work?

Natural supplements in my experience are most effective. 5-10 milligrams of melatonin, or a liquid calcium is always available locally , helps alot. A natural vitamin called CALM, or DREAMZ, anything high in magnesium and calcium out to do the trick! Sometimes one beer or one glass of wine if stress is a factor keeping your mind awake , massage, holosync earphone meditation will put you out, no matter who you are :)

Go to a health food store and buy some good Valerian Root. It is a root herbal supplement to help relax and allow for sleep. If he can sleep at least 5 hours...tell him to take 2 about 30-60 mins before wanting to go to sleep. If not, only take one. When I take two, I'm out by the 60 mins. it will relax you first and you will notice it gradually. Then you go lay down, roll over and you're out. Its safe and won't make you groggy if used correctly. this is an herb that is actually found in valium also. Just not harmful...it has a FOUL odor though. Best sleep aid I've ever encountered.

These answers are good to help you sleep. Melatonin is good but a little strong. When I take melatonin I am groggy for 14-16 hours later.
