Are amino acids necessary for good brain health?!

I wouldn't think so if you are eating healthy, like getting enough fruits, vegetables and meat (if you are not vegetarian.) All cells produce amino acids when necessary; they get the nutrients they need from the food you eat. So, I'm assuming amino acids are necessary for good brain health. Just make sure you eat right, and it should be okay. Your body will produce them naturally.

Well, the main Amino Acids for brain health are Acetyl L-Carnitine, L-Carnosine (an Amino Acid combination), and L-Glutamine.

You get your amino acids from the proteins you eat. Both plant proteins and animal proteins have all the essential amino acids, so there's no need to take a supplement unless you're certain you're deficient in something.
