I am so sorry to hear of your son's problems. It's a lot to bear for a little boy, and you must be very stressed as well.

Yes. Reflexology will definitely help to wake the natural body resources, to calm him down and to minimise the side-effects of the treatment. If I were you I would also add homeopathy which would help even further in the same direction.

I think reflexology would also be good for you to help you go through this very rough patch with less stress, and therefore a better ability to tackle the problems which arise.

Wishing your son a prompt recovery and a good health to you both in the future.

Sorry to hear of your sons problems, I wish you both well.
Advocates claim reflexology is just as effective when used on children as on adults. Some advocates go further and claim it is more effective. Advocates have also suggested that reflexology can also help children create an awareness of self.

I dont see why not. Children tend to be a lot more responsive to natural treatments prehaps due to their open mindedness and natural vitality. Defintitely i would say it worth giving it a go - it can bring no harm.

Sorry to hear that your son is going thru all of this at once. I use it on my daughter who suffers from migraines. Seems to help. I wouldn't think it would hurt to try it. I believe trying anything to take the pain out of their little bodies is worth trying. I'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Wishing you the best

Yes it can help but you need something more aggressive than that. I Know what you going thru my son was a patient from children memorial hospital for 7 1/2 years he was in chemo. he didn't have cancer but he was treated with cancer patients. The only thing that I wan to tell you never give up in your child. MY son case is a perfect example according to the doctors he needs to be in medication for the rest of his life, today he is out of chemo. for the last 3 years and he is not coming back to it. I when to school for Naturopathic medicine and also Oriental medicine. I discover that is more treatments out there for every illness. Look for it and you will find it. I keep your son and you in my prayers, god bless you and you son in this though times. If any thing that you think that I may be help please send me a email to g_salgadochavez@sbcglobal.net or visit my site www.drgeorginasalgadochavez.com

Yes, it's safe to press lightly on your son's feet.

Hopefully his health improves dramatically - if so, that will be down to the clinically tried and tested chemotherapy not the feet pressing.

most cancer patients benefit from reflexology, since it relaxes them, and it allows the treatments to work more effectively.

Good Luck,

A great book is Feet First by Laura Norman

He can benefit just as much from witchcraft, or voodoo, or ghost therapy. They're all magical nonsense and have no proven benefit whatsoever. Maybe you should try bloodletting? Have you swung a dead cat three times under a full moon? Reflexology is nothing more than a fancy name for a foot massage.
