Massage therapy or Physical therapy? I can't decide yet!?!
Question: Studying? or going for a treatment?
Massage is a certificate or diploma course. Lots of corporate work available, or work at clinic/ health spas. Massage uses your hands quite a bit, so to avoid arthritis in future years, take care of your body...
Physical therapy is a degree course, where you gain a massage certificate. You can work as a PT in hospitals/ rehab wards or have a private practice.
In terms of treatments - Massage & PT together are best for creating a happy healthy body.
...Oh and good massage schools DO teach you business and clinic skills - these are essential to starting a practice. If you want to study either, i suggest doing a massage certificate first. You can always upgrade to PT at a later date.. or even osteopathy :)

go to massage therapy! you will leave feeling on cloud nine, breathing better and refresheshed. physical therapy will only help if you have some injury that a chiropracter can help with
Physical therapy is I think a 4 year degree program and it is hard to get into physical therapy school. You will be able to work at a physical therapy clinic or start your own. The pay will probably be around
Indeed.com reports PT salaries at $74,000 and massage therapists at $45,000 a year. I am skeptical of the massage therapists salary since the massage association report much less like $32,000 and about $10,000 for the first year. Most massage therapists start their own businesses so the statistics aren't included in job figures.
Massage School is usually about a year long program. They only teach you how to do massage. They don't teach you how to be a massage therapist and start a business successfully or even tell you the truth about jobs.
There is quite a difference in the amount of schooling, the cost of schooling and the time spent going to school and the amount you can make in each career.
Physical therapy is a 6 year program. You'll make more money with physical therapy and your options are absolutley endless.
