its like a vase, you smoke marijuana out of it theres a little bowl at the bottom where you put the marijuana you suck from the top and pull out the bowl then suck again to get all the smoke oh and it has water in it to filter it or something

a vase like object with a large hole in the top for inhaling through. the bottom has water in it usualy and a small hole with a stem in it. a stem is a straw like glass or plastic object that you put marijuana in and it directs the smoke under the water when you inhale. the smoke filters through the water and become cooler. the water also filters out larger resinous particles like tar, so its more healthy to use.
