It was definitely a primary sativa strain, probably an 80-20% sativa to indica ratio.
That's the best bud when it gives you those trippy, distorted perception effects.
Sounds like sativa. Cannabis Indica (Asian) will usually be reddish - green and even a bit purple in color and the buds are large.
