I'm about to graduate from pharmacy school and I would say that it is definitely worth it!. If you look at what you have to do to get your pharmacist's license compared to the other medical careers, there is a large return for your investment!. You can start pharmacy school with only 2 years of college, then you have 4 years of pharmacy school to get your doctor of pharmacy, then you can choose to go straight to work or continue with residencies!. Currently a first-year pharmacist can make ~$90,000-$150,000 annually depending on where you choose to work!. As a pharmacist, you are the drug expert so it's your job to help doctors make decisions on patient care and you can also help patients understand their health andmedications!.
