Question: Help for my back: out again!!?
Help! I've thrown my back out again, and I don't know what to do!. I've already been to the chiropractor twice now and he says I need to see him 3 -4 times a week till doomsday! I can't afford that! All I did was pick something up the wrong way!. it takes him five minutes and it costs me $45 because 'he's giving me a break'! Can you believe that, then I am in pain two days later!. Any suggestions!? I can only afford to see him two or three more times!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Save your money! I found this great ebook on how to do the adjustments on yourself!. I haven't been to the chiro in three months after a two year habit! I couldn't be happier, and it only cost 37!. I downloaded it right away and fixed my own neck and back within an hour!. it didn't hurt either, it doesn't crack or anything, all you do is push on the bones a little and move a certain way and it's in!. I couldn't believe it cause it didn't feel like anything!. You really should try it!. This is the URL for the book, but he has a good blog too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try strength training!. If you build your back muscles up they'll help support your spine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was in the same situation - I finally just stopped going to the chiro!. and tried to take it easy!. (Easier said than done, I know!.) If you have access to a spa or hot tub the jets will help!.!.!.also doing light exercises like stationary cycling helped alot - it made me sit up and support my back to complete my workout!. I still have bouts every so often, but I can't afford to see a chiro!. for 3-4 times a week, either!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could also try Pilates - it will strengthen your core muscles!. Go to a private once and then a group session a few times!. After that you could do it on your own with Windsor Pilates videos if you feel confident enough to do it on your own!. It is less expensive than a chiropractor, but make sure you go to someone who is reputable and certified!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try sitting up straight and standing straight, pay attention to your posture, most people slouch all day!. When you go the chiropractor all they do is give you an "adjustment" to decompress your spine!. You can do that by yourself at home just work at bending backwards, go at easy while you become more flexible!. Do this and other stretches!. This will fix many cases of back pain!. For "back stretches" just do a yahoo search and you will find plenty of examples!. Another thing is getting "your core" in shape!. So this means getting your "front" in shape will help your back!. So try some light stretching, just start with what you can do!. Also if you have just thrown your back out, you can try some anti-inflammatory like fish oil, vitamin c and so on!. Dark green vegetables like broccoli with also help with inflammation!. If you are willing to try over the counter drugs (NSAID's) should provide some temporary relief such as ibuprofen!. But work at becoming more flexible and getting your back in shape!. Just take it easy so you don't hurt yourself!. As your back gets healthier and you can work at getting it stronger!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well you need to get a little more "back smart"!. First it sounds like a really good spasm in your back due to some underlying condition!. It can be weak muscles, posture, arthritis etc!. Do you have a good mattress with good support!. If not replace it!. When you sleep place a pillow under your knees to reduce pressure in your low back, when you sleep on your side put the pillow between your knees for the same reason!. This can make a large difference!. Next take it easy for a while and limit bending!. Give your back some time to calm down!. Warm baths may help!. When you sit try to use a lumbar support in the small of your back, even a rolled up towel works!. This is important esp!. if you sit for long periods of time, and do this when you drive!. Car seats usually are very poor for low back support!. Once your back settles down then it is time to get in better back shape!. A good way is simply walking 3 times a week now that the nice weather is returning!. You can start out with small but gradually increase the distances over the course of the summer!. This is very good for low backs, if you have any concerns about walking talk to your medical doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to find out what you did to your back!. It could be a pulled muscle or even a herniated disk among other things!. Exercising may make it worse depending on whats wrong!. Dump the Chiroquackter and see a Neurologist!. You may need an MRI!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
