Drink chamomille tea before going to bed!. Sometimes when I can't sleep and i just get sick of tossing and turning, i just do sit ups, it works for me because after i do situps then i just want to lay down and relax!.
Also you might just have too much on your mind, i do this thing every time i can't sleep it's kind of wierd, but it works for me, you think about a strawberry, you draw it in your head, you picture every single seed and you make a background, and think about the noise and everything, and then just concentrate on that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

reserve the bed area only for the bed time; this part is strictly psychological

day time strictly for day life
bed time strictly for rest and recovery
train your body this way

start with yourself
do not start with external aids like pills

when you allow your body to depend on chemical substance,
you will throw it out of its natural balance
