Question: Vitamin B supplements and a sharp, pulsing headache!.!.!.!?
Can anyone tell me why!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Does the B complex you are taking contain any added yeast,, starch, gluten, lactose, sugar, aritficial colors or flavors, artificial sweetners or preservatives, dairy products !?!?!? You could possibly be having a reaction to something added to the B complex ?

Failing that water, water, water is what you need to stay hydrated mate!. At least 2 - 3 litres per day!. Hey, you need at least 2 litres per day just to maintain aspiration (to breath)!! Headaches could be due to dehydration ~ other symptoms of dehydration are puffy bags under your eyes, dark circles under your eyes, constant yawning, headaches and migraines, constipation, bloating and cramps, inability to think clearly ?

Also try to cut back on dehydrating drinks such as coffee, tea, sodas and soft drinks and alcohol (if you drink any) as these will not only dehydrate you terribly but also rob you of your precious B complex of vitamins ?

A deficiency in vitamin B3 !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. never buy any of the B complex of vitamins individually, as they work best as a group, so buy them as a whole ie ~ B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 andB12 !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. will produce negative personality changes in a person and will also produce headaches and migraines, diahorrea, depression, itching skin!.

Eat more foods rich in this vitamin ie ~ fish, lean meats, whole wheat products, brewer's yeast, liver, eggs, roasted peanuts, the white meat of poultry, avocadoes, dates, figs and prunes ~ a handfull of steamed chicken does the trick for me when i have a cracking headache?

Foods rich in vitamin B3 will also eliminate canker sores and often times bad breath too!. it will give you healthier looking skin, increase circulation and reduce high blood pressure!. It is necessary for a healthy nervous system and brain functions!.

Iron deficiency anemia can also cause headaches too !.!.!. nasty nasty headaches, irritability and moodiness, dizzy spells and fainting, fatigue and exhaustion !?!?!? Are you getting enough iron on a daily basis !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. ;0)

iburofen and Tylenol will do a fine job of ripping you off of your essential complex of B vitamins !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. hence, they may work to start with but fail to actually cure the cause and only serve to bandaid the symptoms!.

I truly do wish you all the very best of health & vitality buddy?

take care of you ?

Vitamin supplements do not cause headaches!. Being deficient may cause headaches, but not taking them!. There is some other reason that you have overlooked!. Remember that cheaper is not better when it comes to something as important as vitamins, so avoid purchasing from walmart and other major chains as they have extremely poor quality vitamins!. Also, like the other poster suggested, if it is filled with other stuff, that might cause headaches like a B vitamin that is yeast-based!. It is the yeast that would give the headache, not the vitamin!. Besides, why pay for fillers and binders that are useless to you!? Niacinamide is a B vitamin and it often gives hot flashes in women if you are hormonally imbalanced which could go along with the headache for you!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Same problem here!. I don't take vitamins any more for that reason, but I believe that maybe there is some kind of ingredient in the pill besides the vitamin B formula that causes a bad reaction and thus giving us a headache!.

However, if you want to stop taking the supplements, you can also get your daily allowance from certain foods!. Eating 3 bananas a day will get you your needed amount of Vitamin B!. But there are plenty of other options as well!. Here's a list of foods which have vitamin B:

I was taking anti oxidents and the same thing happened to me!.
I think it is from taking it everyday you get a build up and over do it!. I felt like I was getting too much oxygen to my brain!.
I cut out the anti oxidents and I cut back on the B complex to every other day (about three times a week)
Make sure you do not take it on an empty stomach and it is best to take in the morning with breakfast!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
