Is there an herbal remedy for bladder stones in pets?!

Question: Is there an herbal remedy for bladder stones in pets!?
We have a 4-year old ShihTzu who has been troubled with bladder stones!. We spent $3000 last year to have them surgically removed!. Yesterday's heartworm check-up at the vet indicates they're back again!. Financially, we have no option left but to try herbal remedies!. Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
There are two kinds of stones- small pellet size stones that form in the bladder, then move down and block the urethra, and large stones that fill the bladder!.

Small stones are more troubling to the male dog, as they pass down into the urethra and get caught at the point where it passes through the bone in the penis!. They respond by trying to urinate frequently, and give off little spurts instead of a full flow!.

In this case immediately use Shepard's Purse!. (If in tincture form, dilute it three drops to one teaspoon of water, and give your dog 1/2 a teaspoon three times daily!.)
It will alleviate pain somewhat, and may allow the small stones to pass!. Surgery may still be needed!.

The homeopathic remedy is Coccus cacti 30C!. Give 1 pellet every 15 minutes for a total of 3 treatments!. This may reduce inflammation enough to allow the stone to pass!. If it is too large, only surgery will help!.

To prevent the stones in the future, nothing helps more than a home prepared diet!.

A good recipe:
1 cup brown rice (or 2 1/4 cups cooked)
1 cup ( 1/2 pound) lean hamburger (or turkey, chicken, lean heart, or lean chuck)
1 cup cooked kidney beans (about half of a 15-ounce can)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon Group I bone meal
1 10,000 IU vitamin A and D capsule
1 400
