Question: When is it beneficial to give a massage!?
Answers:
In most situations, massage is generally beneficial!. The most obvious time is when someone is under stress!. Beyond this, massage is very beneficial as a treatment to injuries or illness!.

Depending on the techniques performed, massage can:
- increase circulation of blood
- improve muscle health by bringing oxygen and nutrients to them
- decrease headaches
- improve circulation of lymph (improving immunity and reducing swelling)
- improve joint mobility
- improve digestion
- improve respiratory function
- sooth nerves
- activate your "calming" nervous system (parasympathetic)
- prepare you for a sporting event
- calm you after a sporting event
etc!. etc!. etc!

There are a number of conditions that would be contra-indicated (i!.e!. massage would be dangerous and not performed at all), or that would require the massage be changed to make sure it was safe!. Things like hemophilia, recent burn, etc!. Here's a list:

I would say, jus anytime! As long as you are in a comfortable situation and the other person wishes to get one, go ahead!. I do simple ones like head, reflexology on the hands, a shoulder massage for friends and family!. They simply love it!.

An entire body massage with some aromatic oil will give the person baby sleep!. I find that the body temperature also cools off

Using loofahs and quick lathering soaps, deprive the muscles and skin of lubrications and movement!.

When we are stressed or when we feel tired but can't seem to sleep or rest properly!. Massage has to be given in periodical sessions otherwise it will lose its effectiveness!. Meaning to say, you don't just get a massage for 1 day and then stop until maybe 1 month later!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
