Benefiber Question?!

Question: Benefiber Question!?
So I know that fiber helps to lower cholesterol/clear up plaque in heart arteries and to regulate the digestive system!. This may seem like a dumb question, but does Benefiber do both of these things!? Or does it just regulate you!? Are there cholesterol/heart benefits to it too!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
There are two types of fiber!. "Soluable" and "insoluable" fiber!. This simply means that one can be disolved in water and the other cannot!. (Think also, one can be dissovled in blood, on cannot!.) Examples of "soluable" fiber include acacia (a tree), glucomannan (a plant native to the rainforrests) and Benefiber!. An example of "insoluable" are psyllium seeds!. Your body needs both to function as it needs to clear out the poo and your bloodstream!.

It's best to get most of your fiber from real food as it already has a blend of both fibers naturally!. Flax seed is a good example and I personally put it on just about everything! In smoothies, in yogurt or cottage cheese, over a salad, over soup, etc!. Its extremely cheap too!. I get mine in bulk (whole) at a local healt food store for $!.49 a pound!. I grind it in a coffee grinder right before using and use about one tablespoon per meal!. Easy!

Just start out slow with whatever fiber you're going to use as both can "back you up" if you know what I mean!. Your body needs time to adjust, but the benefits are well worth it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is just a fancy name for a common fiber!. Gluco Manen is very good fiber to use and can be tolerated by almost all!. Cilium fiber is good but some can't tolerate it in their systems!.
You are right on about the benefits of fiber in your diet!. Remember me in picking your best answer!. Thank you and good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I use chia instead of flax because it has more nutrition that flax!. You can google it to check!. Plus chia doesnt have to be kept in a fridge!. You also do not have to grind them up in order to get the nutrition!. I dont care for benifiber because it has aspartame in it and it makes me sick since my body is healthy now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Benefibre is just a particular brand of fibre!. (Like Kleenex is a particular brand of facial tissue) It does all of the above, but is not a super duper extra special fibre!. I think it is just a bit more palatable!.

(Some types of 'add water' fibre supplements are kind of disgusting to drink!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com
