Where to get B12 testing & possibly shots?!

Question: Where to get B12 testing & possibly shots!?
Not asking for a specific place, just wondering where one would go for b12 deficiency testing & shots if necessary!? I've been googling but am having difficulty figuring out what kind of medical place offers this!.

Found one possibility near me, but it's an obesity clinic!. I'm not obese, just having very low energy & a few other B12 deficiency symptoms!. Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

A regular physician can do this for you!. The shots assimilate very quickly but if you can not get the shots, your local health food stoor should have b12 suppliments that can be absorbed from under your tongue or through your nostril!.

This is helpful if you are not assimilating the b12 through regular digestion process!.

Good luck to you with this!. You may also want to consider if you are eating a diet with too much sugar, white flour or meat!. These things can drain your energy as well as food allergies!.

It is a good idea though to get a full blood work up to test for deficiencies of b12, iron and any other causes of fatigue!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your doctor would have to either draw the blood and send it to a lab, or have you go directly to a blood lab!.
It's a simple test, and iron, ferritin and B12 deficiencies are common!. If it was determined that you had a B12 deficiency, your doctor would most likely be able to offer you injections in his/her office!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most any health care can give The shots!.
You can get sub lingual B-12 at Kroeger stores or health stores!. They say this is just as good as a shot!. you know!. putting the tiny pill under your tong and letting it dissolve!.
If low energy is your condition then you need B-Complex as well!. Take these and if you feel better then you know and you don't need any test!. Try some Magnesium also!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I read the others & all were good!.When I was a teen,my steopathic family doctor always gave me b-12 shots, never tested, except annual cbc!.Swansonvitamins!.com and doctorstrust!.com are 2 places online Ive gotten the sublingual tabs from!.I just ordered by way of mail order catalogs, ask for those too!.Usually, apx 10 to 12 dollars per 250 o 300 count tabs,1000 to 5000 mcgs!.!.Ive also gotten dessicated liver tabs for intrinsic factors too!.B-50 or B-100 complex alongside sublingual is really the way to go!.Finally,I recommend the dailyone from puritan!.com,25 dollars for 365 count ,times 5 bottles of one a day vitamins, generic!.The name brand costs $8!.50 per 100count,so ya can t go wrong there!.I would stay away from iron supplements, and just use a iron cook skillet,it has a little rust in bottom ,if you leave al ittle oz !.of water to dry in it for cooking, thats good enough, and we get iron from red meat ,the blood has a lilhemi iron in it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

your primary care doctor can do a blood test & do injections!. you would be wise to get a full cbc w/ differential, a metabolic panel, thyroid etc checked!. all those things can mimic the fatigue of low b12 (usually only the elderly have low b12 unless you have b12 anemia)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

go to a family dr!. that is what i do!. they should run some blood work and then may try the injections!. cause i know i have to have monthly shots!.
you might also have then run a thyroid check, if that is something in your family!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ask your doctor!.

Are you a vegan!? Is that why you're asking!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
