What is mangosteen fruit?!
Question: What is mangosteen fruit!?
What is it exactly!? And where can I buy some!? I live in baltimore!. Would they sell mangosteen fruit in grocery stores in baltimore!? I have really bad acid reflux and someone on yahoo answers told me mangosteen fruit helps it a lot!. What other health benefits can it give you besides taking away heartburn!? mangosteen is like, dark purple!. and has white slices of meat, i guess you could say, inside!.
they're an asian fruit!.
you could probably go to an asian grocery store and buy some there!. or maybe a filipino store!.
i used to eat them alot when i was younger because we're asian, and we had them around a lot!.
but idk, i dont really like the taste that much anymore!.
the taste is a lot different than other fruits you've had!.
my aunt eats them all the time!. honestly, she looks a lot younger than she is!. and i think mangosteen is why!.

Magosteen, is a sout east asian fruit!. Round and purplish with a green cap and stalk!. Inside it is a pure white colour with largish seeds!. The fruit is very sweet!. Do not eat the purple which is very bitter!.
Try a S!.E!. Asian store like a Thai, Malaysian or Vietnamese shop!. Some larger Chinese stores may have it!.
You can also find it in South America according to my Colombian friend!.
Health food shops might have mangosteen juice, this might be a good idea if you are struggling to get the fresh fruit!.The store would also be able to advise you on its health benefits, I've never heard of any but I used to eat it it all the time in Asia and it is delicious!
