Question: Vicodin make you sick!?
i just got a root canal on friday (4 days ago) and i got prescribed some vicodin for the pain, i know i am supposed to eat something with it or it can upset my stomach, i took one today cause my tooth was hurting really bad (or else i would not have taken it)
I ate some yogurt with it, but i guess that wasn't enough, cause my stomach feels really bad now!. i threw up a little, but it wasn't very much, it was kind've like dry heaves, i think thats what it was like, anyway
I also took one the day that i had the root canal, but then i went right to sleep cause i didn't feel good (from the root canal, not the vicodin!.!.yet)
so!.!.i slept, then when i woke later i ate, then took another one before bed!. but all of a sudden i didn't feel good, and i ran to the bathroom and had to throw up!.!.!.UGH!!
i just want to know what happens to you when you take vicodin!.
my mom said it makes her sick and my friend said it makes her face itch, especially her nose!.

It's the opium in the Vic that's making you sick!. Codeine is the ingredient in Vic's!. Codein comes from opium!.Vicodins are half Tylenol and half Codeien!. Tylenol has tendencies to make people have an upset stomach!. So when they combing to drugs that can cause stomach ache!. There is a very high chance of getting one!. Vicodin and many other analgesics can have different side-effects on different people!. Nausia is a relatively common one as is itching!. Don't worry it will go away!. Next time you see your dentist tell them about it and they will prescribe you something different next time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
People have different reactions to medication!. Vicodin is a narcotic and if you are not used to taking it can easily upset your system!. These side effects, however, should subside as your body gets used to the drug!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Some people have a allergic reaction to Vicodin (Itchy friend you have is a good example,) Try eating a bit more food them taking it if that fails Call your dentist an see if he can call you in something else!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
