What are these different types of massages???!

It all depends on what you're looking for!. Swedish is designed for relaxation, and is excellent!. Hot stone (obviously) uses warm stones, and can use different types of techniques!. Shiatsu works with the meridians of traditional Chinese medicine, and can be used for almost anything that acupuncture is!.

Swedish is typically the first massage modality that is taught to students because it's basic!.

Most people get Swedish massages for stress reduction or muscle tension!. It's a general massage, and it can work wonders!. A hot stone massage is when the masseuse uses stones that are heated up to 150 degrees F along with the massage!. The heat and use of the stones feels very good and relaxing!.
