Answers:
If you take too much B-12 there are indeed side effects!.
I took too much for awhile and became EXTREMELY dizzy and even had a few bouts of vertigo!.

B-12 is good, but not too much!Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are no actual side effects to B-12 unless you're allergic to it or are taking any drugs that interact with it!. However, when you take vitamins via a shot, they could potentially give you an overdose!. It's harder to overdose with B-12 since it's water-soluble, but it can still happen!.
The biggest downside to the shots is that your body will process it out of your system within a few days!.!.!. you get a much better benefit from daily supplementation!. You get a steady dose daily instead of a huge dose all at once which might possibly be too much for you and make you feel a little sick, depending on the dosage, plus the fact that you'll have less of it in your system each day until you've got too little to feel much of any benefit from!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

to avoid Miss understanding or mis information!.!.!.!.!. as mentioned in a previous answer, no matter how many fruits and veggies you eat a day, you will not increase your vitamin b-12 intake! Plants contain VERY little to no B12!. It is obtained only in fermented foods such as miso, soy sauce, pickels, nuts seeds, or yogurts!. Algae and some herbs such as alfalfa, dong Quai and Kelp also contain b12!. To answer your question tho, as far as the vitamin itself, it is safe and cant be overdosed!. The for most cause of vitamin B12 malabsorption is the stomachs gastric juice loosing its intrinsic factor, which is a muco-protein enzyme that makes the uptake of B12 efficient!. This is why the shots are necessary to bring up deficiencyWww@Answer-Health@Com

I stick with the saying too much of anything is bad!. B-12 is a vitamin that out bady needs and are not getting enoughf of unless we eat out 5-8 searvings of fruits and veggies a day and most of us are not!. So yes its compleatly safe!. Unless of course you overdo it just like anything else!. Just find out what the recomended dosage is and stick to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
