If you can visit a naturopath who can help you with a proper regemine for you it would be best!. But here are some ideas!.!.!.
There are a group of herbs/mushrooms that are called adaptogens!. They help the body adapt to stress in whatever way it needs!. Certain herbs have specific functions they specialize in!.

Eleutherococcus increases energy, endurance and stamina

Rhodiola reduces fatigue and improves mental clarity!. great for long drives when you need to be sharp!.

Ashwagandha: It's considered to be the herb that has 'horse' stamina!. It will carry you through long hauls!.

Reishi Mushroom: overall well being and stress management

Asian Ginseng: Red ginseng is more stimulating then white ginseng!. It can be too much for some people!. you may want to start with white and see how it goes!.

These are herbs that you will be taking on a daily bases, taking capsules or herbal extracts (tinctures) each day!. Choose 1 not all!. I would reserve the Rhodiola, in tincture, for the times when you need it to keep you focused!. Know that after some months, maybe 4-8, your body will get used to the herb and it won't be as effective!. This is when you will need to switch to another one for another few months!.

New Chapter is a good company for the mushrooms!.

As far as food goes, you need to eat 3 healthy meals a day with snacks if you can, keeping your blood sugar level steady!. Eat fruits and veggies with protein!. having coffee and a muffin for breakfast will not set you up for a good energy day!. You will end up with blood sugar highs and lows that will give you dips and spikes in energy!. Protein is important in the AM for a good start to the day!.

Taking a b-complex will also be helpful

You definitely need to get a full 8 hours!. Your body can't perform properly if it doesn't have enough rest!.

Lots of water!. A fully grown man should be drinking at least 3 litres a day!. This is often the first thing that needs to be looked at!. Hydration plays a major role in energy levels!.

Exercise - Although you work long hours you should still do regular (3-4 times a week) exercise e!.g running, weights, swimming as this also boosts energy levels!. THE MORE ACTIVE YOUR BODY THE MORE ENERGY IT HAS!.

Herbs like ginseng (Siberian) can help boost energy levels and research says the results are pretty good for this!.

Diet - Lots of good food with nuts, pulses, berries, red meat and load of vegetables!. You need B vitamins and a good clean diet!. This is the other major factor in relation to good energy levels!.

You should eat 6 smaller meals each day instead of 3 large meals!. Snacking on good foods (Nuts, bananas, berries) keeps your blood sugar levels stable and aids in good energy levels!. I like snacking on almonds and raisins mixed up together!.

Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best, most natural thing you can do to boost your energy level is SLEEP!. You are running on empty!. The body cannot function without sleep!. I understand that working is a priority, but at what cost!? If you are married, when does your family get to see you!? And it won't be long before your body starts to fail because it's not getting enough rest!. Workaholics don't make anything for themselves but illness!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try sleeping in a more productive way, it helps you get more out of your day now I can spend long periods awake (43 hrs is my longest) and I don't look or feel tired and drowsy!.

Also when I became an ovo-lacto-vegetarian I was more energetic, because I was eating more fruit, veg and nuts I got more energy!. To make up for the lack of meat I took Multibionta with probiotic, though I'm not sure if they actually work, but technically they should!.

Avoid sugary snacks as they only temporarily increase, so your feel tired shortly after!. Also try Innocent's Superfood drinks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
