Nicotine will give a bit of head buzz, but some hookah tobacco is washed so it has hardly any!. Buzz will not last through an entire smoking session unless you get premium tobacco like:

it is a very relaxing expierence mainly due to the aroma and feeling of warm smoke in your body!.
the taste is superb, and if you are using a quality hookah, the smoke is very rich and creamy!. It is a nice social event as well!.
it does not produce any intoxicating effects, however due to the very large volumes of smoke one can inhale, it is possible to get very light-headed from the lack of oxygen!.
I kind of compare Hookah to Tea, in the sense that niether are meant for a stimulus, but they are very calming, soothing and have pleasurable aromatic sensations!.

I did not feel any different when I tried hookah, I suppose you could feel sort of relaxed but don't expect miracles!. They come in flavors though like apple!Www@Answer-Health@Com
