Your stomach should produce a substance called Intrinsic Factor that allows your intestines to absorb the vitamin B12!. Many people do not produce Intrinsic Factor on their own!. You can either take a B12 supplement that contains Intrinsic Factor, such as IntrinsiB12 by Metagenix, or you can take B12 sublingually (in a quick-dissolving tablet you hold under your tongue), or with a patch or a prescription injection, nasal spray, or gel!. These methods bypass the intestines!. There are different types of B12!. Methyl B12 is becoming more popular; it is the easiest for the body to utilize, however, some people cannot tolerate it!. Depending on your genetics, you may need a less broken-down form of B12 such as cynocobalamin or hydroxycobalamin (cobalamin is the name for vit!. B12)!. If your are an "over-methylator", you may get a headache from methyl B12 and therefore should try hydroxy B12 instead!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
