Aloe vera and quality (capsules verses liquid)????!
Question: Aloe vera and quality (capsules verses liquid)!?!?!?!?
Hello, I am taking a brand of Aloe Vera which is quite expensive, I have seen a much cheaper brand in capsule form, it has excellent reviews!. I think it looks good too, the Aloe is freeze dried but do capsules retain all the vitamins and minerals that comes in the liquid form!? Honestly, the answer comes down to the company more than the form, plus the respective doses you're getting!.
First, for the form, think of it this way!.!.!. if a softgel has 1,000 mg (which is typically the largest size in a softgel!.!.!. any larger and it would choke too many people), and the liquid is 2 ounces (also a common dose for Aloe), that's quite a difference!. 2 oz is roughly 60,000 mg!.!.!. the equivalent of 60 softgels!. :o
That's one of the biggest reasons for price difference between pills and liquids!.!.!. you just get that much more!.
As far as the company's quality is concerned, just make sure the company has a good rating with either the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or USP (U!.S!. Pharmacopoeia), as those are the main quality assurance organizations (USP is for the U!.S!., GMP is for the U!.S!. and worldwide)!. As long as they can verify good quality, it's worth taking it!.
Capsules and other pills can still retain all the nutrients that the original product had, as long as they are processed properly!.!.!. meaning low heat treatment (in most cases), no harsh chemicals or solvents, etc!.
