Does anyone here know about the mind/body effect?!

Question: Does anyone here know about the mind/body effect!?
I really believe if I become aware of why I am sick I can heal it!. I have done this for years!. The healh experience I am having has been bigger than anyone before!. Diabetes!. Louise Hay says it is from not being about to digest sweetness!. or sadness or wanting something to be different!. This all makes sense to me my 20 year old son passed away so it all matchs how I feel !. Yet I have worked on it all!. I am ready to stop using this but it also keeps me from having to put up with anything from anyone so it is an excuse to space out & sit down & go into my own world!. I want to stop this!. I have even called my sould back!. So I need suggestions as to how to become aware of why I am doing this cause it is deeper than I have stated & how to have a healthy life!. Any suggestions are appreciated!. I have already had people tell me to read he bible so rule that one out!. Anything else might help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The mind and body are definitely interconnected!. Alternative medicine, yoga, and modern psychiatry / psychology all agree!.

1) Psychiatry has a disorder called somatization disorder where extremely painful emotions can get stored up and then they manifest physically!.
2) Psychology and medicine know about psychosomatic!.
3) Yoga talks of the mind body relationship!.

So it is pretty much agreed on now in all spheres!.

My own experience is that my emotional difficulties manifest physically if I don't process them!. For me this means like feeling as if I've been shot in the stomach! Which can be suppressed fear or grief!. It has been there for a few years now!.

It can be released with bodywork, such as massage, yoga or tai chi etc!. Also therapy can release the emotions because talking allows us to connect!. When it gets really bad you'll often feel like shutting down temporarily!.

The biggest breakthrough for me was learning mindfulness (I'm not sure if I mentioned this before to you!?)!. Well I did a MBCT (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) and MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) 8 week course!. It is a non religious method, which suited me better as it's more effective for most people this way!. Jon Kabat-Zinn helped develop these sort of things!. He's an American academic who started using it in hospitals for people in severe physical pain, and later emotional pain!.

It really works, as it gets us to tune in to ourselves, and our emotions and bodies, which means we start becoming more aware of our behaviours, actions, thoughts and emotions!. It is surprising how our lives can be so busy that we forget to truly connect with ourselves, and over time we stop knowing ourselves, or stop knowing how to heal!.

I would highly recommend looking in to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Read on: first grief counselling if you haven't already been that route, and best, the Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies and Davies!.

I know alot about mind/body effect and psychosomatic illness, plus the grief losing a loved one, but not a child yet, which is worst!.

Wishing you well! Your desire to recover is a part of the healing process!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
