Research has shown that high carbohydrate diets loaded with junky foods tend to increase the desire for alcohol, while good nutritious whole food diets will create less desire for alcohol!.!. when you have a craving for alcohol try some of the following ~

~ Dates, will satisfy your body's craving for something sweet;
~ Bananas, unsweetned fresh coconut, andRomaine lettuce are said to deter alcohol cravings too;
~ Celery helps balance the body's pH balance and is thought to lessen the desire for alcohol;
~ Tomato juice with lemon squeezed into it is a popular folk remedy to ease the urge to drink too;
~ Carrot juice diluted by half with water will taste sweet enough to satisfy the body's sugar cravings and is cleansing to the liver;
~ Boysenberry juice is another juice that tastes sweet and also decreased the desire for alcohol;
~ Fresh Cabbage juice!.!.!.!.!. cabbage contains small amounts of glutamine, which helps curb the brains craving for alcohol!.!.!.!. it's aso helpful for alcoholics who have suffered liver and stomach distress;

pot sounds like a good idea!.!. but that would basically just replace addictions ( although they say you cant get addicted to weed, you can get mentally addicted)!.!. i would try calming teas like lemon balm tea and chammomile tea!.!. and definately try Valerian Root pills!.!. they would up your mood and possibly curb cravings!. It says on the bottles that valerian root is for insomnia and it does help me sleep, but it really just relaxes you !. I get mine from target!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A generous intake of apples helps remove intoxication and reduces the craving for wines and other intoxicating liquors!. Eat daily! Or you can try grapes!. Since the grapes contains the purest form of alcohol, it is an ideal yet healthy substitute for alcohol!. Alcoholics should take three meals a day of fresh grapes at five-hourly intervals!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No - not really, except pot which is not what you need!. Join a health club and exercise everyday seriously, I know someone who goes twice a day!. It will reduce the need to drink, honest!. Best to follow my wife's maxim - drink only moderately or else you have to quit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
