Goji berries make me sick?!

Question: Goji berries make me sick!?
If I have a teaspoon of them, it's ok!. I just feel a little nauseated!. If I have half a cup, I feel quite ill indeed, as if I'd eaten poison!. This is from a fresh bag and other people have eaten them with no ill effects, so it can't be that the berries have gone bad!.

Am *I* the one that is sick!? Are the berries reacting with toxins in my body or something like that!?

Should I use goji berries as an appetite suppressant since they make me sick!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You're probably a little bit allergic to them!

I don't think the berries are reacting with toxins in your body, because goji berries aren't really detox berries!. It's loaded with antioxidants, which helps reduce oxidizing materials in your body (NOT the same as detox)!.

I would say stop eating the goji berries ASAP! Give them to someone else who can eat them!.

As for an appetite suppressant, it's supposed to suppress your appetite, not make you sick! Try drinking a lot of green tea instead!. It's also loaded with antioxidants, helps suppress your appetite, and you're less likely to be allergic!

Buy "organic" goji berries if you are going to eat the dried fruit!. You don't know what are on regular one!.

If they make you sick, you shouldn't be eating them as appetite suppressant!. Because the berries might be stale!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think they taste awful too!. so just because they're good for you, doesn't mean you have to punish yourself and eat them!. try mangosteen, or acai berries which have a better taste!. or better still, buy a powder/juice of it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some of the goji berries have preservatives on them to keep them fresher!. Maybe you are allergic/sensitive to sulfides or other preservativesWww@Answer-Health@Com

Perhaps you are allergic to them!. If they make you sick stop eating them, just like any other food!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
