What is sleepy time tea ?!

Question: What is sleepy time tea !?
Is that contain natural or artificial ingredient!? And how it helps as a sleep aid!? How safe is it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It's an herbal tea made by the Celestial Seasonings company out of Boulder, Colorado, USA!. It contains the following herbs, and is completely natural (no artificial additives or preservatives whatsoever):

"Ingredients: Chamomile, spearmint, West Indian lemongrass, tilia flowers, blackberry leaves, orange blossoms, hawthorn berries and rosebuds!."

This is info is taken from Celestial Seasonings own website, link below!. As you can see, it does NOT contain valerian, which more than likely, would actually help you, so look at buying a bottle of valerian tincture and taking that in addition to drinking the tea!. The chamomile and the tilia, which is also known as linden flower, will be the strongest soporific herbs in the blend, but they are not terribly strong!. It is more a gentle blend that will calmly and lovingly assist you in trying to fall asleep and staying that way!. It is extremely safe!. BTW, NONE of Celestial Seasonings products has any artificial anything in it!. Nor do they irradiate their herbs!. It is an extremely safe, extremely clean, extremely committed to folks well-being company!.

Other soporific (sleep-inducing) herbs that might help you are: hops, valerian, oats and oatstraw, passionflower, lemon balm (melissa)(and you can freeze sprigs of this in your ice cubes and make a really nice summer drink out of it mixed w/ any of the following: apple juice, chamomile tea, lemonade, ginger ale; California poppy, lime flowers, kava kava, lavender, cedar (These last two are often sewn into sleep/dream pillows!.); catnip!. There are many others!. This is more than plenty to start with!. I recommend growing these, especially the passion flower because it has GORGEOUS, totally psychedelic flowers!. Lavendar is beautiful in gardens, too, as is California poppy!. Don't bother trying to grow hops, as it requires really tall supports!. Also don't take hops if you're prone to depression, they worsen depressive states!.

If you can speak a bit more about what is going on in your life, especially with your diet, your lifestyle, and your stress level, it will assist me in suggesting what changes to make!. Off the top of my head they are these: Completely eliminate coffee, black or caffeinated teas, sodas and chocolate from your diet!. Eliminate all "energy drinks"!. If you are taking ginseng, quit it for awhile, especially if you are a person who gets headaches easily!. Purchase a good, strong calcium/magnesium tablet or capsule and take it every day of your life!. Calcium/magnesium usually is prescribed and works best in a two to one ratio, but Rainbow Light has a formula where they've reversed this ration (magnesium is 2 parts for every 1 part of calcium) that some of my clients have had excellent results with!. Do not buy oyster shell calcium, as it is not very assimilable, and may be contaminated w/ heavy minerals such as lead and calcium!. Eat TONS of green veggies every day!. Stop eating junk food, permanently!. Do make sure to eat at least 3 small healthy meals each day, each containing enough protein!. Sometimes people try to survive on an all carb diet, and then find they cannot get to sleep b/c they're body is hungry for protein and keeps waking them up at night to tell them so!. Do NOT be attached to being a vegetarian!. If it works for you, great!. If you're hungry all the time, add protein to your diet, and by that, I mean animal protein!. There is much more I could add, but start with this!. One last thing: People sometimes have a hard time falling and staying asleep if they are too sedentary!. If you are not moving around enough, add a dance, a yoga, a chi gong, a pilates class every day or at least every other day to your lifestyle!. See if these things do not help!. Feel free to email me for more info if you'd like!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
