You can ask your doctor (or any doctor) to prescribe it for you!.!.!. but that doesn't mean your insurance will cover it!. Whether your doctor is willing to write a prescription for it or not, insurance doesn't have to cover items that are available over-the-counter (which any herbal tea will be)!. If you're just trying to bring your price down on buying this tea, then sorry I don't have an answer you'd like to hear, but I hope I helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
