Zantac and Insomnia?!
Question: Zantac and Insomnia!?
Meds with horrible side effects, why do they prescribe them if they cause worse problems than the original problem!? I was taking zantac for acid reflux!. I developed insomnia and a panic disorder!. After I stop taking them and switched to taking digestive enzymes, I can sleep again!. Isn't there a way I can call the makers of zantac and tell them about this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, actually, you SHOULD contact any company when you have an adverse effect on it!.!.!. that's the only way that they will know there's a problem (based on the reports they get), and in turn, the FDA will know if they need to pull it from the market (if there's enough complaints)!.
Your first step is to contact the prescribing doctor's office to make sure they reported the adverse event!. There is basically nothing you can do!. And you would need to check the PDR and look for side effects reported in studies!. Doctors see side effects all of the time like this and it is no big deal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
