Answers:
Alternative medications have never had clinical testing, so there is no scientific evidence that they have any positive or negative effect!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Herbs work slower but are safer!.

Drugs treat the symptom of the disease (which the doctors often call the disease) while herbs go to the root cause!.

sometimes this root cause is causing several diseases but they are stemming from the same source and this is why herbs often are used for several different diseases!.

Herbs are organic and nature made and designed for the human body but medical drugs are man made and not designed for our body!.

They have many side effects!. They are often misprescribed for off label uses or the pharmacy misreads the doctors handwriting!. Sometime people need more drugs to handle the side effects of the original drugs!. sometimes drug companies have to spend millions of dollars to get a drug patented and thus if problems turn up down the road in the process of getting it approved studies are faked and serious side effects left out in order to get the drug approved!. Once approved, it is hard to take them off the market!.!.many are harmed before they get pulled from the she;f!.

Far less people die from herbs than from medical drugs and mistakes

Some drugs are from natural plants but they cannot patent these and thus cannot make money so generally they have to alter the plant in some way and also they extract chemicals while the plants has other nutrients and chemicals that works synergistically (together)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sadly, it has a lot to do with the FDA!. Pharmaceutical companies - drug makers - can get FDA approval for their products, while neutraceutical companies - the natural stuff - can't!. It's not even an option!.

A product cannot make a claim unless it is a drug (a chemical)!.

Everyone knows that Vitamin C helps with a cold, but a product containing Vitamin C cannot say that it helps with colds!.

I had a doctor once tell me to take St!. John's Wort because it does the same thing as Xanax!. But it's natural, so it can't make those claims!. Btw, St!. John's Wort doesn't really have any side effects!. Check the link for some of the crazy rules!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well !.!.!.!.!.
Put a chemical into your body that has had very little testing, if any at all!.
I for one am sick and tired of being the pharmaceutical companies guinea pig, and paying big bucks for it, not including the health risks!.
Sure many pharmaceutical drugs have base chemical such as caffeine, but do you know that chemicals found in meth, speed, and cocaine even opium is also added into some of these pills!?

Then we have these commercials on tv to push there drugs on us has increased the sales of these drugs!. Making self diagnoses even more dangerous!.

"Alternative medicine" has been around since the dawn of time!. Grown in the ground, not made up in a flask then packaged in pretty bright colors and sold at 1000 percent markup!.!.!.!.!.

Herbs/oils etc!. can be just as dangerous as pharmaceutical drugs, but I would rather have the right to choose which to take, we do live in a "free" country right!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Conventional prescription medication often has a lot of side effects such as headaches, dopiness, tiredness, aching muscles, coughing and much worse but alternative medication, such as herbs, in general has no side effects or very few side effects!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pharm meds aren't natural - they are chemical copies of anything natural!. Eg salicylic acid comes from the bark of the Willow tree but the big pharms make a chemical copy and call it aspirin !. They missed the point !Www@Answer-Health@Com
