A headache can have many causes, allergic reactions, stress and tension in the muscles from mental stress or physical stress and hard work!.
Headaches often start in the muscles of the neck, midback on up, jaws (especially if you grind your teeth in the night), facial muscles and sinuses!.
To relieve the pain, if you do not use pain relievers, then try the following!. Hot and very cold compresses, switch them back and forth every 10 minutes, it shocks the muscles that are aching and relaxes them, relieving pain!. Sleep helps, if you can fall asleep!. Getting someone to give your shoulders, arms, neck and face a massage can help immensely!.

Check your consumption of dark chocolate (heats and tightens gall bladder) and coffee, as mentioned above!. Chiropractic adjustments and changing my diet to include lots more salads, lemon and light foods, like steamed veggies helped me immeasurably!. Sometimes women w/ no former hx of gall bladder complaints will find it acts up during or more usually, after pregnancy, so check into this as well!.
