Cuz it seems like it does!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yup!. Antidepressants, most of them anyway, work primarily on monoamine(Serotonin, NorEpi, Dopamine) neurotransmitters and some other misc!. cellular metabolic processes!.

The THC(and it's other relatives) in pot mimic a natural neurotransmitter known as 'anandamide'!. Anandamide has implications in controlling how the brain builds and breaks down these other neurotransmitters!. So when you screw with this 'function' of the brain it theoretically mucks with antidepressants!. The theory isn't clear on what exactly will happen, but in practice we see that pot smoking makes antidepressants work far below what they should!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Marijuana is a depressant in itself and it is a bad idea to mix antidepressants with marijuana!.

So, yes, in a way it would!.

Don't smoke dope - it's not good for you and it serves no purpose unless you are prescribed it for nausea in relation to cancer treatment (which it's not the actual marijuana but the THC that is in pill form and doesn't give you the high)!.

Drugs are a waste of brain cells and body resources!.

Good luck, hon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you do it enough times, it takes a while, but eventually it will!. I asked my phycitrist because i used to smoke pot, and sometimes i do and i take lexapro!. so if your planning on doin it, then dont do it as muchWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well, then what's the obvious answer here!? That's like saying "It hurts when I punch myself in the face" THEN STOP!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
