Question: Question about Lortab and Alcohol

Hello i had hurt my foot the other night and was given lortab 10/500, i took 1 about 3 hours ago, i was wondering if i could have a few beers and be ok, just like 2-3, the main thing i am worried about is the effects it will have on my liver because i know it was more then likely make me drosy but i dont plan on driving anywhere!.

lortab (aka Hydrocodone and Vicodin) 10/500 is a relatively strong dose (as opposed to 5 or 7!.5 mg) it takes 4-6 hours for your liver to remove it, so I wouldn't drink until at least 4 hours later, but since it is a higher dose, I would wait at least 6!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you mix Lortab and Alcohol you are inviting trouble!. The Lortab is a depressant, and is going to make you sleepy!. Add to that the alcohol and you could possibly go into respiratory arrest!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
