It's a natural anti-depressant!. It's supposed to be as good as Prozac!.
It has side-effects too, just like prescription drugs!.
I've used it before, but didn't notice any reduction in my anxiety symptoms, but that was me!. You might react in a positive way!. Try it & find out!. I have the PDR Guide to Herbal Medicine, and it states that St!. John's Wort is used for treating depression and anxiety!.

It acts as a weak SSRI medication, so yes it can affect anxiety!. The problem is, it's not very good, and the active chemical in it mucks with a whole range of liver enzymes and cause some rather bizarre interactions with other medications!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
