I understand how the system works, and I've seen plenty of people get positive results from it, but I'm really not a fan of it!.
Basically it's derived from a few chinese systems (namely that parts of bad emotions store in meridian lines), and that by tapping them when you bring the emotion up, it lets you release the bound energy holding it in place!. The guy who made EFT found out about that, and made a really simple system (with a few holes) to take advantage of it, and then packaged it in a form which would be appealing to the new age crowd!.
Given nothing else being available, I think it's a good option to pursue, but if you have access to something better I wouldn't consider it!.
To answer your question any further would require a lengthy discourse into meditation or Chi Gung, so hopefully that's acceptable for what you're looking for!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Emotional Freedom Technique is derived from the work of Roger Callahan, itself derived from kinesiology!.

It works for some people and not for others!. The reason is that it's a fixed set of points which are stimulated in a predetermined sequence!. Some people respond well to this set of points and this particular sequence!. Other people would respond better to another set of points or another sequence!. But then you would have to go back to kinesiology and muscle testing to determine the individual needs of the person - which is always better than any fixed method like EFT!

It works very well on phobias and quite well on anxiety!. If it does not work for you, you might consider consulting a kinesiologist directly to solve your problem!. The solution will then be individually suited to your needs and to the particular cause of your problem!.

All the best to you! Have a super week!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you have summed it up nicely as "pretty ridiculous"
Most AltMed thrives on people being "open to believing", as without belief, these things don't do much at all!.

Here is a nice summary!.
