Why does my foot itch?!
Question: Why does my foot itch!?
I've got a really annoying itchy spot on the sole of my left foot, in the arch, just above the heel!. It's been there for a couple of days!. It's not desperately itchy, just constantly feels like it needs a bit of a scratch!.
It started following a bad fibromyalgia pain, when my ankle felt like it was being used as a post for nails to be banged into!. The pain was awful, and once it was gone I was left with this itchy spot under my foot!.
I've looked it up on the reflexology chart and it tallies with the small intestine - which would be a fair assumption at the mo' - but when I worked the spot rather than scratching it had no effect, it only seems to want a little scratch now and then!.
I wondered if maybe there's a lymph drainage spot in there or something, as that would also tie in with what I'm going through, and feels much more like the sort of feeling I've got!. I've just not found a lymph thingy down there before!.
Any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

in all honesty, the nervous system is just a weird thing and sometimes you just get odd sensations for no explainable reason!. Unless it gets worse or you have serious symptoms that go along with it, 99!.9% of the time these things are completely benign and nothing to worry about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It may be a nerve that is still sending out signals even though the pain has simmered down!. Look up scratching on Wikipedia!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
