Here is the info that I have on them it will help so everyone does not get them I am sorry but it is on the long side

a contagious skin disease caused by tiny parasitic mites!.
after it mates the female mite will burrow into the top layers of the skin and lay eggs new mites develop fully within 10 days
the presence of toxins they excrete trigger processes that lead to swelling and skin lesions

the condition is quite contagious mites are passed from one person to another through close body contact and through infested towels and bed linens and clothes

Heat aggravates itching!.
the itching swelling and overall discomfort of scabies are aggravated by heat and sweating!.
Wear light cotton clothing that breathes so sweat evaporates and air can reach you skin!. the heat of the bed at night can be very irritating
use a thin blanket and cotton sheets!.

What to do
the mites eggs and larvae and adults must be killed
physicians usually prescribe a topical medications for this but be cause of the potential toxic effects
naturopaths prefer to use sulfer ointments and essential oils!.

take a bath to open skin pores and before applying crams or ointments and lave them on for 12 hours before rinsing off!.
change underwear /bedding / and towels everyday and wash in hot water!. place pillows and other items not easily washed in the dryer for 30 min's to kill mites
alert everyone you've been in contact with about the possiblility of an infection!.

Sulfur ointments for treatment
Before the advent of modern pharmaceuticals sulfer ointments were the primary treatment for scabies and naturopaths still prefer them!. You can find these products at the drugstore
apply to the entire body form the neck down several time a day
don't use these ointments however if you have a sulfa drug allergy

essentail oils for disinfecting!.
some essential oils act as disinfectants help kill the mites!. and reduce
itching
tea tree oil unlike most oils may be applied undiluted on the skin
use 1 to 2 drops on itchy areas
othe disinfectant oil useful are scabies are clove /peppermint/ and thyme
dilute these with a carrier oil and apply to itchy areas!.

oatmeal baths to relieve itching
you can pour powdered oatmeal available at pharmacies directly into you bathwater!. Whole rolled oats will also work but you will have to strain the water before you let the water out or you can plug the drain
or you can place 2 ro 3 cups in a large dish towel or cheese cloth and tie the towel tightly when running the water make sure it runs through the towel

make sure that the water is not too hot just luke warm
stay in for 20 mins dont' towel dry but let the air dry you off so the milky film remains on your skin longer extending relief!.

Take 5 to 10 garlic capsules a day and eat liberal amounts of fresh garlic
garlic has high levels of antiparasitic sulfur compounds
its odor also seems to deter teh scabies causing mites!.

Avoid steroids
resist teh temptation to use creams that are corticosteroid!.
there may temporarily allay itching but they do little or nothing to subdue the mites!.
and tehy can weaken the skin'simmune response prolonging the problem

restore m oisture
inflammation uses up the fats naturally present in the skin leaving it dry and scaly making its itch more prominent and slowing healing!.
try using superfatted soaps instead of regular soap
apply a healing ointment (calendula salve/ aloe-vera gel andf vitamin E oil are good options) you an also rub in vegetable oils such as sweet almond oil or grape seed oil or olive oil to remoisturize you skin
continue applying emollients after the mites are gone your skin still needs special care

Malachi,

You are correct that the medication can be quite toxic!.!.!.!.

I would try a natural remedy and the one that I have noticed most often is called Kleen-Free and they have instructions on their website on how to use it as well as an ORDER ONLINE button on their too!.

I think it is something like 4 to 8 ounces in a bath every night and dabbing it on the spots etc!. This goes on for two weeks so you likely need about a gallon to get everything done right!.

Good luck, Www@Answer-Health@Com
